Additionally, the app offers an "Away Mode" feature that can help deter potential burglars by randomly turning lights on and off while you're away.
But the capabilities of Kasa Smart don't end there. TP-LINK is constantly working on adding new features and supporting upcoming hardware in the Kasa family. So you can expect regular updates to further enhance your smart home experience.
If you have TP-LINK security cameras, you also have the option to upgrade to Kasa Care cloud service. This service provides a range of benefits including 30-day unlimited video cloud storage, the ability to view videos anytime and anywhere, instant notifications with snapshots of detected activity, and the ability to record and share video clips on social media.
It's important to note that if you choose to subscribe to Kasa Care via Apple, your payment will be charged through your App Store Account. Subscription renewals are automatic unless you disable auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The selected plan will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
